service design, experience design, food sustainability design & research
Hey there
Dear reader,
First of all, thank you for stopping by. My name is Chu-Yi. I am a designer from Germany who strongly believes that design has the ability to connect us and shape a sustainable future in the world that we live. My design work is influenced by my interest in arts, emotions, culture and systems thinking. I see the great importance of human-centricity and holism to design experiences with a positive impact. To me, that means considering society’s and the planet’s needs and providing equal access to everybody. I am convinced that we have the chance to create something magical in everyone’s life when considering these principles.
In the last couple of years, I met people who inspired me and influenced the path I took in recent years and I am very grateful for that. These times have shaped and still shape me as a person and a designer.
After graduating from the National College of Art and Design (Dublin, Ireland) in Service Design, I head back to Germany where I am currently working as an Experience Design Consultant at IBM iX. Besides that, I am dedicating time to food sustainability design and arts. At the moment I am keen to identify a way how we can make the food system understood by everybody through arts. I believe food is something beautiful that connects each of us and can bring us closer together and so can arts. So, why not bring them both together, right? If you would like to have a chat about it, please get in touch. I would be delighted to hear from you.
Have fun exploring my work and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out.
Lots of love,
Chu-Yi
